Lots of Writing Work

I'm on a bit of a writing streak. I've had a few big articles hit the pages of N Scale Railroading magazine.

You may have seen my Schnabel car on the cover of the Nov/Dec issue of NSR. This monster build was my third cover, but it was only Part 1 of the Schnabel build.

The Jan/Feb issue brought Part 2 of the build, as well as an article I did on building a little scenic truck. This was the first time I've had two articles printed in the same issue, and it brings me to 18 articles printed so far. I have more articles in queue and will have more done as soon as I get a little more layout progress done. I'll post some updates as soon as I get the work done.

N Scale Railroading Again

I think this is my 13th article. I'm losing track with so much going on. It was the build on the Clinchfield Hopper I made for the Skally. It was a fun and easy project. Hopefully I can get another printed before the end of the year.

N Scale Railroading Again!

My 11th Article (2nd this year) has hit print. In the Sept/Oct NSR Magazine, I have a detailed BNSF AC44C4M build. I'm happy with how this one came out! There is also a great update on Bill Edgar's North Shore Int. (Duluth, MN to Thunder Bay, ON) layout. Hopefully I can get 1 or 2 more printed by the end of the year.

Three in a row!

I made it into N Scale Railroading again! My BNSF GP50 write up is my most in depth yet. It was fun transforming an out of date Kato into a modern day beauty. Now back to the layout work!

Back To Back!

I'll try to get some more updates going about the layout and loco builds pretty quick. I'm just a little short on available time right now (only 4 days off in October).

If getting published in the last N Scale Railroading wasn't enough, my next article got published in the Nov/Dec 2015 issue. So if you are interested in the full MILW GP20 build, pick the issue up.

SD70ACe In N Scale Railroading

I'm am a lucky guy. N Scale Railroading accepted another article from me. In the July/August 2014 issue, my SD70ACe build makes its official debut. I'm really happy with how the cover came out. Kirk and Bill did a great job of putting it together. This is always a great magazine, so I am glad I can contribute to it. If you get to read it, let me know what you think. Thanks!

Patching Article

I was fortunate enough to have another contribution accepted by N Scale Railroading Magazine (my 3rd). In the Nov./Dec. 2013 I have an article on the making of an SCXY "patched" hopper. It's a great issue overall with plenty of cool articles, check it out!

No, but it is nice to be on the cover of my favorite magazine.

N Scale Railroading

I want to thank the staff at NSR for publishing my article on building a GP39E in the Nov/Dec issue. I'm pretty proud to have been published. It also includes John Leaders' great Marias Pass Layout (N Scale Addiction) and more of Bill Denton's amazing work (Model 160). Check out the magazine, I hope you all enjoy it!
